An old sewing machine at a thrift store
I usually find them at Karm Thrift stores, however, they price them at almost brand new prices. (Note: most of their items I believe are over priced – in rare cases you’ll find decent prices on items). KARM is short for Knox Area Rescue Ministries.
I have even saw some antique sewing machines and some still with their cabinet desk. Above are some of the finds at various thrift stores. Plus, I share some on social media too: SteveSews2
Anyways … I often will look at it. I might admire it. In some cases, I might test it out. (If you are looking for one, be sure to keep thread and needles handy. Maybe even spare bobbins, so you can test it)
I just let stay there, but I have posted it on my social media so others will see and maybe régime that old sewing machine.
My first sewing machine came from a thrift store, The Masked Bandit.
