Liberty Star
The “signature” quilt was made by Marguerite Bowman Jennings circa 1941. The original quilt contains 288 signatures of Greene County families. Ike Bowman, a Pet Milk Company employee and his wife Georgie collected the signatures on his hauling route. The quilt was donated to Greystone Free Will Baptist Church. Sponsored by Greenville Town Hall. Installed in 2016. Designed and painted by Amy Saxonmeyer.
Located at Town Hall 200 N. College St, Greeneville.
