My Bucket Hat Attempt
I have used this pirate fabric on many other items sewed on Steve Sews Stuff.
This took me around one half to two hours to complete, including cutting, reading the directions and sewing. Not too bad for my first attempt.
I used the directions from Green Apple Cottage.
I got the idea from a Sponsored Ad from JoAnn’s Fabrics on Facebook.
The bucket hat uses around 1 yard if fabric total. (½ a yard of design fabric and ½ yard of lining or inside fabric). You could almost make the other side with a pattern too and make it reversible!
It was not too bad to sew and really one of my first circle or oval sewing projects. It is a moderate easy to sew.
It does seem this would work better with a design fabric pattern that was closer together than spaced out.
