January 25-29, 2021, is Appreciation Week for Frontline Workers, First Responders and Healthcare Workers. As a part of this celebration, we are asking people to align on Hospital Drive between the hours of 6:45 pm and 7:15 pm on Thursday, January 28 and form a “Waving, thumbs up” appreciation display. During this season of COVID and health protocols for social distancing, we are hoping this will be a way for us to be community and show our appreciation. You may stand, sit in a lawn chair or remain in your vehicle. We would like for as many people to participate as possible. This is just a small token of our gratitude for the individuals putting their lives on the line daily. Let’s show our appreciation!!!

Maybe this is not in your city, town, county or state, then maybe you can do it then too in your local setting. Make sure to follow the current restriction laws too.

Something my Small Group and other Small Groups at True Life Church, in Jefferson City, TN done was give baskets of snacks and drinks along with personal thank you notes to a lot of medical staff at one local hospital. Maybe your small group can do that too!

The workers appreciated it too. They enjoyed it and even put the notes they got on their lockers at the hospital.

Sharing is caring! Please share this blog post and tell others!
