Cricut Explore Air 2 Dust Cover
This uses about one full yard of fabric. I used cotton fabric on this one. I used the Names of Jesus fabric from Hobby Lobby.
The one I made was a little big, but it still works and covers my Cricut Explore Air 2. It might use a little tweak to make it more form.
I didn’t use any templates or look up how to make this, I just put it together and did it myself by measuring the Cricut Explore Air 2.
Cuts I used
- 3 Fabric pieces cut 23″ x 8″ (Front, Top, and Back)
- 2 Fabric pieces cut 8″ x 8″ (Sides)
If you want to do an inside lining, which I did not do, then you need to double the fabric pieces above. Doing one set for the design and one set for the lining.
I then began to sew the sections together. One thing to note is how the back one needs to be facing when sewn together.
Sew with the design sides facing each other, so that you are pleating on the non-printed side of the fabric.
