10 More Things to Sew With Scrap Fabric - never throw out those fabric remnants or small pieces of fabric as they can still have life in small projects. #scrapfabric #fabric

This is part two, I have previously post a list of 10, this post shares 10 more! I know each item you can sew depends on the size of the remnant(s) I’d fabric aka scrap fabric.

11. Fabric Card Games

I’m sure can make other games using that scrap fabric pile. You can always Google fabric card games, a poplar one is doing memory fabric card games.

12. Small bowl cozies / cup cozies

Maybe use smaller squares and make a smaller bowl cozy. Or a cup cozy! Learn how to make a bowl cozy. You can adjust the size for smaller cozies. Or even do a cozy quilt style by patching them together.

13. Doll Clothes / Stuffed Animal clothes

you can even make doll clothes and stuffed animal clothes with scrap fabric. For example, I made a shirt for a teddy bear, and I’ve made hats for a couple of our lovees a.k.a. Our stuffed animals.

14. Fidget Marble Mazes

you can also make fidget marble mazes, or any other kind of textural sensory items like how Twiddle blankets are done.

15. Cat nip toys

Sew small things with cat nip inside. Almost on the same lines of rice hand warmers, but smaller and with cat nip instead of rice.

16. Quilted Zipper Pouch

Just sew scrap fabric together randomly or quilt like and make a quilted zipper pouch.

17. Individual Silverware holder / utensil holder / plasticware holder

This when sewn together can hold your silverware or whatever plasticware for place setting (knife, fork and spoon). Check out Deb’s Days on that idea!

18. Key chains

You just need scrap fabric and keychain rings and can sew it together to make cool keychains, maybe some stabilizer or batting or something else to thicken it up or stiffen it.

Clearly Inspired as a how to make a cuff / key fob style keychain. But I’m sure you can adapt this to use circle keychains and adjust the size too!

19. Eyeglass case / eyeglass pouch

Put your eyeglasses, readers, blue light glasses, sunglasses, etc. Inside making it a pouch like.

Robert Kaufman shares a free pdf on how to make an eyeglass Pouch.

20. Fabric Greeting Cards

Use those scrap fabric remnants to make greeting cards. Great for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Anniversaries, Birthdays and so much more. Basically you can make these for any occasion or holiday! Lazy Girl Design shows how to make a fabric greeting card!

What else can be sewed with scrap fabric?

The possibilities are endless! Feel free to share what all can be sewn with scrap fabric. I just might make another list again!
