Gyro-Cut Junior Blade
Is a hardening steel blade and is said to be This “skin-friendly”. I didn’t get this blade to test.
This replacement hardened steel blade is perfect for cutting:
- All types of paper

- Photographs
- Model Covering Films
- Masking Materials
- Vehicle wrapping vinyls
Please note that this blade is only suitable for use in our blue Gyro-Cut and Gyro-Cut JUNIOR tools. It will not fit our Gyro-Cut PRO or Fabri-Cut tools.
Standard Cut Blade 15°
Is a hardening steel blade.
The Standard Cut, hardened steel blade is perfect for cutting:

Heavy Cut Blade 45°
Is a Tungsten Carbine Blade
The Deep Cut blade is perfect for cutting:

- Felt up to 3mm
- Sugarpaste
- Medium Balsawood
- Thin Leather (3mm)
- Thicker Card
- Cereal Cartons
- Polymer Clay
- Thin Foam/Depron
This add-on blade is only compatible with our Gyro-Cut® PRO and Fabri-Cut® tools. Please note that this blade will NOT fit the blue Gyro-Cut JUNIOR tool.
I did feel the sharpness on this blade as it punctured the protective silicon cap.

Hardening a steel blade involves heating it to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it to create a hardened surface.
Tungsten carbide is a popular material for making cutting tools, including blades, due to its exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and strength.
I would make sure to keep the protective silicon on cap on the blade when not in use, as well as, the tiny envelope it came in or another storage method. These blades are tiny and small. Keep out of the reach of young ones, this blade if swallowed could do a lot of damage!
No, I am not sure about the Fabri-Cut tool. I didn’t see it on their website as an option to buy.

Gyro-Cut does have some copy cats and cheap replicas. They do however warn you about them and say only use and trust their Gyro-Cut tool. However, Steve hasn’t tried one of the knock offs to know for sure.
To be clear to my readers … I was given a Gyro-Cut Pro starter kit with extra blades to review and to write blog post and share my experience and reviews on social media. Any reviews are of my own and my honest opinion.
Gyro-Cut does not recommend their blades to anyone under the age of 10. Adult supervision is recommended. These blades are very small and pose a chocking hazard and can do severe damage if swallowed.
