Simply put, a power tool is a tool that uses an electric or gas motor. So therefore, a sewing machine is a power tool, since it has an electric motor! Mind blown!

Now I gave you something to think about! Maybe knowing that might get more men to sew or quilt.

Men often like power tools. I bet you never thought of the sewing machine being a power tool, but it is. Since it is a tool to sew, uses electricity and has a motor.

Boom! Is your mind blown knowing that?

Maybe not, on the same premise, the serger is a power tool too! Just saying! Now, I don’t own a serger or know how to use one, but sooner or later, I’d like to learn how to use one and own one too! What other sewing or quilting tool is power tool?

Yes! Men can sew & quilt too!

BTW don’t forget you can name your sewing machine too! I named mine Brother Stitch!
