Trip Around the World (variation)
The early 1900s circa quilt was created by Wayne Horton’s grandmother Elsie Guess. Wayne is a long time employee of the General Morgan Inn. This is the first rectangular block on the Downtown Greenville Quilt Trail. It also has the distinction of being the first replication of a family quilt from the African American community to be part of the NE Tennessee Quilt Trail. Designed and painted by Amy Saxonmeyer. Quilt block installed in 2017.
Located at The General Morgan Inn Complex at 111 N. Main Street, Greeneville, TN.
