What I learned to Sew in 2023 – check out what I learned how to do in 2023 that is sewing or quilted related. #2023
What I learned in 2023
I thought I would take this time to share with my readers things that I learned to sew in the year of 2023. Below is a list of the things that I taught myself to so in 2023.
1. Coasters
I did make one for my wife. I haven’t made any to sell. A great way to use scrap fabric. Below was my first attempt at a coaster. Not too bad!
2. Bucket Hats
I made my first bucket hat this year. It didn’t turn out too bad. Maybe after I make some more, I’ll add it to my shop. But, it does take a good bit of fabric and time. That would be considered into the cost. Learn more about bucket hats.
3. Bookmarks
I made some bookmarks too. Not for sale but to give out. Here are a few of the first ones I made. A great way to use scrap fabric!
4. Scrunchies
Well, I learned that in high school, but started to make them again 2023. So I had to relearn how to make scrunchies. I did put these in the shop section! It can be a great way to use long pieces of scrap fabric too. Learn more about scrunchies.
5. Wrist Key Fob Keychain Lanyards
These help you carry your keys on your wrist. They are easy and another great way to use long scraps of fabric.
6. Drink Cozies
Drink cozies are like the cardboard sleeve on your favorite hot beverage but made with fabric and reusable. Learn about drink cozies.
