September 22, 2022 is the first day of the fall season (autumn equinox). Time for change …

At 9:04 pm Eastern, is when Autumn officially begins. The term fall came because of the falling leaves during Autumn.
Both spring and fall equinox is said to have the same amount of daylight as darkness. However, they say that day usually comes on that Monday or Tuesday after.
