Exciting news! Squishmallows are making their way to Happy Meals!
Kids will have the opportunity to collect 24 different Squishmallows, including exclusive and seasonal designs. What makes this Happy Meal program truly special is that 14 of these plush toys will come with an exclusive playlist created by Universal Music Group, tailored to each Squishmallows’ unique personality. To access the playlists, kids simply need to scan the QR code on the Squishmallows packaging or Happy Meal box.
This campaign aims to combine the worlds of McDonald’s, Squishmallows, and music, creating an elevated fan experience. It represents an evolution of the iconic Happy Meal brand, incorporating exclusive music playlists for the first time. McDonald’s is proud to collaborate with Jazwares’ Squishmallows, the top-selling plush brand worldwide, and Universal Music Group on this exciting initiative.
Each participating McDonald’s location will have 10-12 different Squishmallows available for kids to collect and enjoy.
The specific release date for the Squishmallow-themed Happy Meals is currently unknown.

Per the McDonald’s release, there will be a total of 24 unique McDonald’s Squishmallows for collectors. Each store will have 10 to 12 distinct designs available. To gather the entire collection, you may need to visit multiple McDonald’s locations.
Out of the 24 unique McDonald’s Squishmallows, only 14 of them will feature a special QR code. Scanning this code will lead you to an exclusive playlist tailored to your Squishmallow design.
Here’s the predicted schedule that we can expect based on speculations:
- Disney Pixar “Elementals”: Late June to Early August
- Marvel’s “The Marvels”: August to Mid September
- Pokémon Mid September
- Halloween Pails Mid October
- 100 Years of Disney end of October
- Crash Bandicot the beginning of December
- Squishmallows: Now slated toward the end of 2023.
Sources now are saying the day after Christmas ( December 26th) for the Squishville Happy Meals. It will last until January 24, 2024. As of September 4, 2023. (Subject to change)
